Project #3 - The Story

The story was quite difficult for me to come up with a story to put to my song. I had my song picked out for a quite awhile - Corey Smith "Be The Change". I really wanted it to look like a public service announcement, taping various children who were abused, neglected, etc. but that turned out to be a lot harder than I had ever anticipated so I switched it up a little bit.

I chose to make the story about peers being role models for children and how we as a society shape the children. It is still in sense a little like a public service announcement, but with a different approach to it. I feel that this turned out good. I was able to go into a local YMCA where a friend of mine works and tape her playing with children and helping them, to show that children really do look up to adults and mimick what they do/say. That in turn leads us to believe that children are our future and we must be good role models for them for our future.
